The 18th Annual Farmer's Market is now open and will continue every Wednesday through November 1st. The Farmer's Market gives customers the opportunity to choose from 10,000 pounds of farm-fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables each week, all of which are grown by more than 30 California farmers.
The Farmer's Market & Family Festival includes “just picked” seasonal produce including strawberries, asparagus, apples, oranges, avocados and tomatoes. Patrons can also enjoy live entertainment, fresh flowers, hot food vendors, specialty ice cream treats, children’s bounce house, rock climbing and local crafters. In addition, the Northridge Center Farmer's Market & Family Festival welcomes new vendors:
- Roger Thomas Egg Farm: Roger Thomas Egg Farm is a certified farmer that offers Farm Fresh free-range eggs. The farm's eggs include chicken eggs, quail eggs and duck eggs.
- Yee vue Farms: Yee vue Farms is a very unique California certified farmer with delicious southeast Asian type produce including Chinese broccoli, sweet Chinese grapefruit, Thai eggplant, Laos Ginger, daikon, long bean, lemongrass and more.
- Cakeberry Bakeshop: Cakeberry Bakeshop offers custom cake pops, similar to cupcakes. All cake pops are homemade with the finest ingredients and attention to detail.
- Loulou’s Falafels: Loulou’s Flalafels takes traditional Arabic cuisine and blends it with the new generation. The owner Mr. Karam, son of Loulou, takes his love of cooking and Loulou’s falafel recipeto come up with new ways to enjoy the traditional food. Loulou’s offers snack packs with falafel, pita chips, or vegetables, which is a perfect snack while walking through the market. In addition, Loulou’s offers new hummus flavors including sun-dried tomato and jalapeño.
Located at the Tampa Avenue parking lot near Macy’s and California Pizza Kitchen. Every Wednesday from 5 PM - 9 PM, now through November 1st.
