Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employee
  • Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and evaluating job performance
  • Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent
  • Ensure availability of merchandise and send weekly and monthly sales reports to request and maintain proper inventories
  • Examine current sales trends to create sales promotion and authorize clearance sales
  • Develop a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year strategically designed to bring in more revenue
  • Maintain a professional and clean store environment for both customers and employees
  • Display proper and new merchandise on displays
  • Maximize sales with every customer and encourage fellow staff to do the same to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goal
  • Create incentives and reward for store employees to promote higher sales
  • Monitor inventory daily and prevent thefts
  • Communicate with store employees actively to create a good team working environment
  • Meet with Regional Manager or General Manager to report
  • Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met
  • Respond to customer complaints and comments
  • Must be able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Northridge before starting work

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience: Customer service: 1-year (preferred)
